Sleep curves

See how a night unfolded, then compare it with the other nights. The curves show device estimates; the diary records how sleep actually felt.

Inside a night

Reports poor sleep, a roughly 01:00 attempt and 09:45 waking; attributes it mainly to timing, with many thoughts before bed. Oura 83 / COROS 88. Contributing effects are not isolated.

Sleep stages · Oura

Oura sleep stages, 2026-11-02Thirty-second estimated stages in chronological order. Awake at top, deep sleep at bottom. Uncovered time is blank.DeepLightREMAwake01:0304:0006:0008:0009:44
Chronological 30-second labels: awake at the top, deep sleep at the bottom. These are estimated stages, separate from remembered awakenings.

Heart rate · Oura bpm

Oura sampled heart rate, 2026-11-02Pulse in beats per minute at provider timestamps. Missing samples break the line. The vertical scale adapts to this night.35557501:0304:0006:0008:0009:44
Five-minute samples on the same clock axis. Gaps stay blank; the pulse axis adapts to each night. No smoothing or filled-in measurements.

Look for patterns, then check the diary

  • Are awake labels isolated or clustered? Compare their timing with what you remember.
  • Does pulse settle early or stay elevated? Compare with reported meals, training, illness and alcohol without assigning a cause from one night.
  • Do the devices move together across nights? A disagreement remains visible rather than being averaged away.
  • Does better grading coincide with better experienced sleep? October 26 had higher scores alongside reported bad sleep, waking sleepiness and body pains.

COROS’s connector exposes nightly summaries, not a stage-by-stage timeline. The overnight curves therefore use Oura only. Additional rest/nap detections are excluded from these main-night curves; disputed detections remain in their dated accounts.

Sources, gaps and update rules

Thirty-second Oura stage labels and sampled pulse are available for 21 logged main episodes. They are retrieved on demand; the selected night’s retrieval time is shown above. Each timeline matches the existing record’s exact episode boundaries and summary values. The stage sequence is anchored at the provider’s episode start; any final partial epoch is clipped at the episode end, and uncovered seconds stay blank. Pulse uses each sample object’s own timestamp and interval. Missing pulse samples break the line.

Daily comparisons use the canonical record, including separate provider scopes and the incomplete-recording exclusion. No COROS stages are reconstructed from percentages. The curves do not measure EEG or validate the sleep labels. All clock times use America/Los_Angeles. New daily entries appear in the trends automatically; a missing overnight timeline is kept unavailable until fetched on demand. No scheduled sync is added.
